An Inside Look - Previewing Dixie Motor Speedway

The Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints (AVBBSS) are back in action on Friday, June 27 at the .400-mile oval of Dixie (MI) Motor Speedway as part of the track's re-opening race program. This is the fifth event of the season and closes out a busy month of June.

Most Recent Series Event - Saturday, June 14 - M-40 Speedway:
Turning in a dominant performance, Florida’s Troy DeCaire dominated the 30-lap feature at M-40 Speedway in Jones, Mich. on Saturday, June 14. DeCaire became the fourth different winner in the opening four events. Following DeCaire across the finish line included former Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series Champion Tim Cox with Chris Neuenschwander holding off Jo Jo Helberg for the final podium spot. Series point’s leader Jason Blonde rounded out the top-five finishers.

Points Update:
Five-time series champion Jason Blonde leads the point standings after earning two runner-up finishes and three top fives in the initial four races. Second in the standings in 2010 series champion Kevin Feeney with rising star Davey Hamilton Jr. in third position. The remainder of the top five includes 2013 series runner-up Joe Swanson and veteran Mike Astraukas.

News and Notes:
- The most recent series winners include Ryan Litt at Toledo on June 13 and Troy DeCaire at M-40 on June 14. Litt's victory was his 11th career victory, moving him into the eighth spot on the victory charts, tied with Legend Hurryin' Hank Lower. The victory for DeCaire was his third career win.
- Tim Cox made his first season start at M-40 and finished in the runner-up position.
- Chris Neuenschwander finished in third spot at M-40. It was his second top four-finish in his two starts.
- A second season appearance is planned for Jacob Wilson and the No. 07 Wilson Brothers Racing entry. He finished in fifth spot at Angola (IN) Motorsport Speedway in the season opener on May 31.
- Dustin Daggett will make his third series start of 2014 at Dixie on Friday. He finished a season best eighth at Toledo.
