MARNE, Mich. (June 17, 2017) – Becoming the fourth winner in the opening five events, Bobby Santos Jr. earned the victory at Berlin (Mich.) Raceway on Saturday, June 17 in the  Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints presented by Royal Purple Synthetic Oil.

Ryan Lit, who has earned feature victories this season at Kalamazoo and Auto City, led the opening 27 circuits. His bid for a third win ended with less than three laps remaining after experiencing mechanical issues that forced him to retire from the race.

That advanced Santos to the first position and he paced the final circuits to post his first series victory of the season. Jimmy McCune followed up his win at Toledo with a second-place run. Anthony McCune placed third, a career-best finish. Litt and Chris Randolph rounded out the top-five finishers.

In preliminary action, Litt won Dowker Engines/Royal Purple Synthetic Oil Heat. Santos was top qualifier at 12.781 seconds at 123.371 mph.

The Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints presented by Royal Purple Synthetic Oil is back in action on Saturday, July 1 at Baer Field (Ind.) Speedway.
