Jones, MI (7/13) Jason Blonde started on the outside of the front row
and led all 30 laps of the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint
feature Friday night at M-40 Speedway.
Point leader and track record holder Jeff Bloom posted his 5th
Hamilton Trucking sponsored fast time of the year, with a 10.586 second
lap around the 3/8 mile oval. Jeff rolled a 9 for the inversion in the
feature, and finished 2nd to Blonde. Ike Beasly was 3rd followed by
Jimmy McCune, Mike Ling, Bill Tyler, Mike Astrauskas, Chad Goff, Chad
Delagrange and Dennis Craft.
The Dowker Engines first heat went to Craft, followed by Bloom,
Tyler, Beasley and Johnny Scherer. The Logo Boys second heat went to
Blonde ahead of Bill Jacoby, McCune, Troy Underwood and Ling. The
United Trailers third head was taken by Dorman Snyder, who was chased
by Aaron Katz, Astrauskas, Delagrange and Goff.
The traveling Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints will make
two appearance this weekend, Saturday night at Owosso (MI) Speedway and
Sunday at Winchester (IN) Speedway. Join us for the fastest short track
