BLOOM SCORES AVBBSS WIN AT ANGOLA

Angola, IN (7/3) Jeff Bloom added to his season-long point lead in the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint series after scoring the 30 lap feature win Tuesday night at Angola Motor Speedway.
Bloom started off the night by setting his 4th Hamilton Trucking sponsored fast time of the year, with a 12.301 second run. As has been his pattern this year, Jeff rolled a 10 for the inversion in the feature, and it took him 22 laps to get through the front 9 and take the lead, which he never relinquished. The race was slowed by only 1 yellow flag on lap 26. Bill Jacoby took the initial lead from the outside front row before Dennis Craft took over from his 4th place start. Craft was the runner-up at the finish, followed by Jimmy McCune, Mike Ling, E.J. Calloway, Bill Tyler, Chad Goff, Jason Blonde, Troy Underwood and Chad Delagrange.
The Dowker Engines first heat went to Underwood, followed by Bloom, McCune, John Boy Hotchkiss and Mike Astrauskas.. The Logo Boys second heat went to Blonde ahead of Tommy Fedewa, Ron Koehler, Goff and Calloway. The United Trailers third heat was taken by Ling, chased by Davey Brown, Delagrange, Tyler and Jacoby.
Bloom leads the points with 619, followed by Blonde 598, Goff 554, Ling 543, Underwood 523, Tyler 510, Aarno Katz 495, Hotchkiss 491, McCune 485 and Jacoby 470.
The traveling Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints will next perform on Friday night, July 13 at M-40 Speedway in Jones, MI.
