Mike and Krista at Dixie have switched us to Friday July 4th. instead of Saturday the 5th. I am sorry if this messes up someones plans as I just was told to change the date. This will be the first Friday show for Dixie this year after they switched to Saturdays. We need good support for this show, so please try and adjust your schedules. Tom

e. We will be pitting in the lower pit area, in the offseason they widened the back stretch eight foot and closed the exit off of turn three. The entrance, exit is through the same opening (widened ) in turn four. Steve and I thought that down inside the track would work better for us.     Tom

     I recieved a phone call last night from one of our race teams asking about a rumor he had heard from another race team. M-40 is not closing. Steve Brown and I have talked, and the family is just plain and simply burned out. They are, and will, continue to run the track through this season. Hopefully they will get a breath of fresh air and continue running one of the finest racing programs we travel to. See everyone on the 27th.    Tom

Toledo, Ohio

Weather in the Toledo area forced the Fastest Short Track Show cars in the world to cancel.  The Auto Value SuperSprints along with the ISMA Super modifieds showed up at Toledo Speedway ready to race for the big event.  One practice session was in the books when the show was called.  A field of 18 were ready to take center stage.  Fast times off of the practice session included the 98F car of Kevin Feeney who cruised in with a 13.614.  Other fast times included Chad Goff , who most recently won at Butler Motor speedway timed in at a 13.696.  Ryan Litt posted a 13.759 in practice.  The other cars ran times no higher than 14.880.
Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super sprint Series will be at Auto City Speedway in Clio, Michigan  on Saturday June 14, 08  Gates open at 5PM.  Racing at 7Pm. 

I was called today with some very sad news, as many of you know Marty Tyler gave one of her kidneys to her mother ten days ago to hopefully get Mrs. Rider off of  dialysis. Although the surgery was sucessful Shirley Rider passed away one week later while still in the hospital in Ann Arbor. From what I gathered they believe a blood clot caused the passing. Marty is home, but having a few problems keeping food down so they are working on that as I'm typing this. Visitation is Tuesday June 10th. at the Weatherby Funeral Home at 402 Wildwood in Jackson. The times are 2-4 and 6-8. The funeral is Wednesday at 1p.m. Our deepest condolences to Bill, Marty, Cody, and Toby, and the rest of the family.     Tom and Helen

d. Racing begins at 7:30 p.m. ISMA heats, AVBBSS heats, ISMA last chance ( if necessary), 10 minute intermission weather, time permitting. ISMA feature, AVBBSS feature. 

PIT RULES; 4 wheelers are only used to push cars, NO laps around track, NO joyriding, NO going out into parking lot. Long pants only, no open toed shoes, shoulders must be covered. 14-17 year olds must have a parent signed release at the pit gate in presence of pit registrar. 
We will have tires at the track.
