JEFF BLOOM ADDS ANOTHER SPECTACULAR VICTORY WITH A TOLEDO SPEEDWAY WIN.

What is deemed to be the" Fastest Short Track Show in the World" brought out the stars and the cars to Toledo Speedway.  Under perfect weather conditions, the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Series had 25 sprinters on had to please the fans.   The crowd was fantastic and filled the stands to near capacity as the main feature event that started 20 took the track.  The pole cars were the veteran and  H.O.S.S. series champion #71K Geoff Kaiser and veteran racer #26 Jeff Bloom.  As the green flag waved Jeff Bloom took the opportunity to get past Kaiser and set his mission on the checkered flag.  He did not have an easy ride with fast cars in back of him wanting the stripe also such as Chad Goff who tried to make many passes on the #26 including a down to the wire last lap, but could not succeed. #71K hung on to the tails of #26 until lap 19 when surprisingly he had to drop out.    Only one caution in the feature as we had a slow down with the #44J car of Bill Jacoby who came back to racing after a year Hiatus.  Strong racing by Kyle Flint in the #20K car.  He started inside 7th position and landed in victory lane by finishing 3rd.  Ryan Davis in the #10 owned Tracy Rice machine was strong all night on the Toledo Banks.  Ryan started 4th and finished fourth and made a come back from 6th spot, but never wavered his line on the track.  Jason Blonde #24 finished 5th and started 8th.  In qualifying, Jason shattered the old track record  12.900 of Cameron Dotson by turning a 12.744.  Jason was the only sprinter to hit the 12's for the night as he never lifted during the two laps. Jason also beat the ISMA fast time of #11 Chris Perley of 12.89.    In qualifications, a bad turn for Ryan Litt# 07L, as a hopeful Toledo champion, Ryan hit the backstretch wall bringing out the red.  Ryan is OK.  He was out for the evening.  Derek Snyder who turned a 13.212 in qualifications took the 8 spot in the finish.  A few new entries to the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper series helped make the night great with exciting racing.  Travis Minieau #82 finished 9th in the feature.  Frank Neil #88N finished 11th.  Starting 20 cars 12 finished on the lead lap.  On behalf of the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper family we would like to thank Toledo Speedway for their Hospitality, all of our faithful racing fans and the ISMA Super Modified staff and drivers for their help in putting on the "FASTEST SHORT TRACK SHOW IN THE WORLD".  The Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints will make their next appearance at Berlin Speedway in Marne, Michigan on June 27th, 2009.  JLL.GB.
